Vaasthu Pooja
Vaasthu Pooja, also known as Vastu Shanti Pooja, is a ritual performed to purify and balance the energy of a place, usually before moving into a new home or starting construction. It aims to appease Vastu Purusha (the deity of directions) and to ensure that the building or land is free from negative influences and conducive to health, wealth, and prosperity.

Purpose :
- To remove any negative energies or obstacles from the land or building.
- To ensure peace, prosperity, and happiness in the place.
- To honor the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and space) and align the property with natural forces.
Procedure
- Selecting an auspicious date and time (muhurat) for the pooja.
- Invoking Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles.
- Performing rituals to appease Vastu Purusha and the deities of the directions.
- Offering items such as grains, flowers, milk, and sacred water.
- Reciting specific mantras and prayers.
- Conducting a homam (fire ritual) to purify the space.
Vaasthu Pooja is typically performed for homes, buildings, and lands, especially before moving in or starting construction.
